Excellent afternoon activity
Purchased for my father's birthday, 4 adults attended Genius Escapes! Met Ian at the location, after a short video and choosing which level to test our wits (we went for medium) it was time to beat the timer before it could all go horribly wrong. Not wanting to spoil it for future escapees, with several rooms and a multitude of different codes to crack, we had a great time! Having done other escape rooms as a group, this was the best we've done so far, and escaping with 12 minutes to go gave a great sense of achievement! The team at Genius Escapes were very welcoming and accommodating. We'd highly recommend them for others who fancy testing their skills!
Lots of exciting puzzles to keep 6 players busy
Loved the nuclear game at genius escapes. Loads of puzzles to battle through and it kept 6 very experienced players busy for a full hour. All handmade electronics built to a very high standard. Ian is a great host. Definitely play this one!

I had so much fun at Genius Escapes! From the intro to the debrief we were looked after by our friendly hosts with great attention to detail. Clues were given when requested. We kept the momentum going during the game and the while experience was exciting and left us wanting more. Can't wait to try more of what Genius Escapes have to offer!

I went with 4 friends and we had a fantastic time. The hosts were really friendly and helpful when we got stuck along the way. It was great fun, highly entertaining and given me the bug to try more escape rooms!

Been to a few rooms before ,so thought we would try this.Only been open a few months,but can say it's one of the best.The young girl on the desk was friendly and very helpful,and put us at ease.We didn't escape,but would recommend this room as was loads of fun trying to figure out all the puzzles.Clean and tidy ,free parking as well
Best escape room yet
We've done several escape rooms and this is has been our favourite so far. It is spread across multiple areas and has some really inventive puzzles with great use of technology. I think it would work well with different age groups.
Challenging but great fun!!
We've done few escape rooms as a family and this one ranks highly! Dozens of puzzles to solve to piece together the overall solution, at times coming in waves and keeping everyone fully engaged. We managed to escape with just under 10 minutes to spare so while challenging at times, it is certainly not impossible to beat (but might be more of a struggle with less than 4 people!). Well kept equipment - impressive use of technology - friendly staff - lots of fun. Well worth a visit but suggest you visit the ale house next door after completion, rather than before, if you want any chance of succeeding!!

Brilliant room. Well-built with superb puzzles
My family with two boys (aged 10 and 12) had a fabulous time doing this room. Quite challenging but with lots for the boys to get stuck into. Some brilliantly built puzzles with great use of technology (which can sometimes prove temperamental but in this case worked flawlessly which makes it all the more impressive). Definitely among our favourite rooms.
Excellent Escape Room, Very High Quality Puzzles!
We loved doing this escape room. The puzzles are all really good and well made, (unlike some other rooms we have been to before) and the staff were all lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend Genius Escapes!
Amazing escape room!
My friends and I booked in today to this escape room and boy did we all have such a great time! Price was great for the shear amount of things there are to do even as a group of 5! There was never a time when we didn’t have something we could try and solve. There are also 3 difficulties you can try with this which i’ve not seen before. All a plus! Can’t wait to see what else you guys have in store for the future 🙂 thank-you for making this birthday outing so memorable 🙂
We had a blast – Great fun
From the outside, it doesn't look like much but warm welcome. Well explained. Then they send you in and that's it. Went with colleagues. Glad between all of us we had a brain and we managed to escape with 7 minutes spare but, as we didn't know what to expect, I booked the standard one. Might still be in there now otherwise. Would recommend and happily do another one.

Really well thought out, fun room with some puzzles I hadn’t seen before. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve already recommended it to lots of my friends.

Fantastic experience. A really well set up escape room. Great variety of problems to solve and tasks to complete. Lots of original ideas made it really fun for our group. Perfect for a mix of people with varied escape room experience.

We tried this escape room this weekend and it was amazing! Compared to other escape rooms this one does require a bit more thought than physical tasks, but there were more than enough activities to keep us occupied, including some really cool outside-the-box ones I’d not seen anything like before. We played on standard difficulty as a team of four. We escaped with just 2 minutes 17 seconds remaining. Throughout the hour there were more than enough tasks that we could either work on a bit by ourselves, or in pairs (which worked really well). I really liked the theming around a nuclear disaster - it was done very well! For those wondering about the difficulty levels, I’ll advise that it’s the same scenario for each level, which means once you’ve done this room you can’t really do it again at a higher level. Also you can select how many clues/hints you want to receive, which is a nice touch. For what it’s worth, I don’t think we’d have completed it without a few clues. Highly recommend this Escape Room to anyone though! And the staff in there are super friendly and welcoming. Very clear that a lot of thought has gone into this room, so I hope other people enjoy it too!
